Hi Sandy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You are visiting VERY soon and I have to say that you have picked a great time of year to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" With cooler weather, manageable crowds, and the holiday spirit all around, I know you will have a wonderful visit!
Even though there are a lot of special things happening around the Walt Disney World Resort for the holidays, my top pick for a day visit has to be
Magic Kingdom Park! This theme park has the most rides and many of them are iconic attractions like Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, and "it's a small world." This is also the best fit for Guests of all ages with a range of attractions for thrill-seekers AND little ones.
You won't want to miss the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After fireworks show during your day. I suggest grabbing a snack like a hot dog from Casey's Corner or a Dole Whip from Aloha Isle prior to finding your spot to watch the entertainment. When you are done, don't forget to stop by and
Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater to thank him for a wonderful day!
Since you only have one day, make sure to utilize time-saving tools like the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It's complimentary, but the time you will save using it for FastPass+ selections, viewing current wait times, and even Mobile Ordering (for ordering your food in advance and skipping the long lines) is absolutely priceless!
I hope this helps with planning your day, Sandy! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
