One day in Disney CA - What should I do? My friends from the UK are going to CA and have a day or two for Disneyland. What should you do in one day? Also do you know of any deals on entry tickets or would they be better off doing entry and a nights hot

    Hi, Rachel!

I’m glad you're planning a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” If you only have one day to spend at the Disneyland Resort, purchase a Park Hopper ticket so you can visit both theme parks. You won’t want to miss Buena Vista Street and Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park in addition to the original Disney theme park! Disneyland Resort’s spring ticket promotions have ended and summer deals (if any) haven’t been announced yet, but check with your employer, school or credit union as discounts may be available.

My favorite attractions at Disneyland Park are Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight and Haunted Mansion. Use Disney’s FASTPASS Service whenever available to make the most of your time. For a unique dining experience, try Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square. The restaurant is right inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, so request a table near the water and have fun waving to Guests floating by in boats headed to the pirate-filled waters below! For reservations, call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463).

My favorite attractions at Disney California Adventure Park are The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and The Little Mermaid-Ariel's Undersea Adventure. Stop by the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land to try one of the delicious “cone-coctions." Flo’s V8 Cafe serves classic American fare and the decor is inspired by the drive-up diners along Route 66. You’ll enjoy views of the Cadillac Mountain Range as cars speed past on the Radiator Springs Racers attraction!

As a magical finale to your day, make plans to see a nighttime spectacular like Fantasmic! or World of Color—they’re both dazzling shows that won’t disappoint. Please write back with any other questions you may have, Rachel!

    Wishing you magic,
