Hi Dana, welcome to planDisney!
I’m so happy you’re planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Sometimes you need to fit Walt Disney World Resort into your busy schedule, and a one-day visit is the perfect way to add some pixie dust to your itinerary.
With a
Standard Theme Park Ticket you can visit one theme park per day and you are welcome to come and go as needed. You will not be able to exit a theme park and visit a second theme park without purchasing a Park Hopper Option.
If you are planning to visit before January 9, 2024, you will be required to create a theme park reservation for the date of your visit. Since you plan on purchasing a Standard 1-Day Theme Park Ticket, this reservation will be made at the time of your purchase. I recommend visiting the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and checking that the theme park you would like to visit is available for the date of your visit. If you are visiting on January 9, 2024 or later,
your date-based 1-Day ticket will not require a theme park reservation.
I hope this was helpful, Dana. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as your visit gets closer to see what special experiences you may find during your day at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, please
come back to see me at planDisney!
Reach out and find your happily ever after,
Kaitlin
