Hello, one of my children has special needs and wont be eating at Cinderella Royal Table, do i include him the reservation or not? im told i will have to pay for him regardless of wether he dines or not.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Raziel!

Thank you for stopping by once again with another excellent question! We are thrilled to continue to help you plan pixie-dusted memories for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table is such a magical experience! I love the storybook setting with the beautiful stained-glass windows overlooking Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. The food is delicious, and having one-on-one interactions with Disney Princesses is always so much fun. If you have little princesses and knights in your travel party, they are welcome to dress up for the occasion – it is not every day that we have the chance to dine inside the iconic Cinderella Castle!

Cinderella’s Royal Table is a very popular restaurant among Guests, so I highly recommend making reservations up to 60 days in advance. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can start making reservations for your entire length of stay up to 60 days before your arrival. This is perfect because you can make all your dining reservations on the same day instead of having to check availability day after day.

Please include all members of your travel party in your dining reservations, including your child with special needs. That way, the restaurant can arrange proper seating for your family at a table that comfortably accommodates all of you. Cinderella’s Royal Table requires full payment in advance for all Guests, regardless of whether they will be dining or not, so you must pay for your child when booking. I talked to our friends at Disability Services, and they told me that although not guaranteed, you are welcome to speak to the manager on duty to talk about your son and verify if anything can be done about his reservation. Remember, however, that the restaurant policy requires payment for all Guests.

planDisney tips: The Walt Disney World Resort offers services and access options so all Guests feel included and accommodated during their Disney adventure. I highly recommend checking out options available for Guests with Disabilities, including Disability Access Service. If you have specific questions or needs, feel free to reach out to the Disability Services team.

It was a pleasure answering your question, Raziel. I hope this information is helpful and that you have a magical time with your family at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Best Disney wishes,
