One of my children is severely allergic to nuts, gluten and lactose intolerant. Which of the quick service restaurants best accommodate those with food allergies? Which of the character meals best accommodate those with food allergies?

    Hi Kristina!

I'm sorry to hear about your son's food allergies, but no worries!  You can most certainly dine at Quick Service and table service restaurants.  When at a Quick Service restaurant all you need to do is ask for their "ingredient book".  Each restaurant has one behind the counter and feel free to ask for help.  The Castmembers are trained to help with this.  When making a reservation for a table service restaurant please let the reservationist know what your son's allergies are.  They will make note of it and let the restaurant know in advance.

Upon your arrival, make sure you remind the Castmembers of your son's allergies.  The Chef will come out to speak with you about the selections.  You can also email Disney's food experts at specialdiets@disneyworld.com.  You can let them know your concerns in detail and they will help you by giving you more information and solutions.  Disney is wonderful at dealing with special food needs.

Have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
