Is there only one charge each day for parking? Can I leave during the day then return later in the day with out having to pay again?

    Hi Danielle,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're always happy to help with your Walt Disney World planning questions.

When you pay for parking at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, the fee covers the entire day. You are welcome to leave and return to the same lot or to move to another theme park lot without a recurring charge. Just make sure you keep your receipt.

Or, if you want to park hop, you are welcome to use the Walt Disney World transportation system -- the monorail, buses, Disney Skyliner or water taxis -- to get from place to place and to return to your car when you are finished. For example, if we plan to finish our day at EPCOT, we often will park there, take the monorail to Magic Kingdom for the morning, then return by monorail in the afternoon.

And just to be sure you aren't paying unnecessarily for parking, Danielle, please remember that complimentary parking at the theme parks is a benefit of staying in a Walt Disney World resort. You only pay if you are staying off-site. Annual passholders also are entitled to free standard parking.

I hope that answers your question. Please let us know if we can offer our recommendations for dining, attractions, shopping or other experiences at Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
