How much should one budget for the Epcot Food & Wine festival? is there an admission charge? How exactly does it work?

    Hello Pamela!

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is one of my favorite events! The event is scheduled for September 27 - November 11, 2013. You can attend by purchasing park admission, there is no separate admission charge. However, please be aware that there maybe certain special events which will require reservations and have a separate charge.  The way that it works is that you will find additional food kiosks located around the World Showcase, usually featuring countries which are not normally found in the World Showcase.  The kiosks sell small portions of the food and wine native to the country its representing. One of my favorites last year was Argentina's kiosk because it featured empanadas and steak with chimichurri sauce! The plates typically run from $5 - $10. We basically started on one end of the park and ate and drank our way to the the other side! As far as budget, it depends on how much you plan on consuming. As the date approaches, I am sure there will be more information available. I recommend that you frequently visit the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Page as more information will be added as the date approaches.

If I can assist you with any other planning question, please feel free to send them my way!

    Bon Appetit!
