    How does one become the family that opens the park/parade at Magic Kingdom?

    Hello Jennifer,

    I wish we had a Fairy Godmother with a magic wand because this is a dream of mine as well!

    I would love to tell you there was a secret formula for how families are selected to parade down Main Street U.S.A. But as far as anyone can tell, it's all about being at the right place at the right time. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, so even if you're not selected, make sure you wave and cheer on the lucky family!
