Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Cheryl! (And...as a fellow Texan - HOWDY!)
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and consider it an honor to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World. I know you are counting down the days to see and experience what Mickey and his pals have planned for you. We know you are going to have the most MAGICAL time ever!
To answer your question, I wanted to let you know that guests are only allowed to park at a Disney Resort if they have a current resort reservation, a dining reservation at a table-service location, or a reservation for any
Enchanting Extras, like horseback riding at
Fort Wilderness Resort. These parking rules are in place to manage crowds and keep spaces available for those staying at the resorts.
HOWEVER, you are still welcome to visit different resorts using
Disney transportation, such as buses, boats, or the monorail from the Disney theme parks and
Disney Springs. Many guests enjoy resort hopping to explore unique theming, dine at restaurants, or experience special holiday decorations. For example, one of my favorite things to do when I visit Disney World with my family is to take the monorail around to the
Grand Floridian, the
Contemporary, and the
Polynesian during the Christmas season to look at all of the festive decorations.
As you continue to plan, I highly recommend you check out the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest and greatest information regarding all things Disney! Mickey and his pals are planning some AWESOME surprises for you, and we don't want you to miss a thing.
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
Wes
