Can one adult and 4 kids (ages 17,17,8, and 5) book two connecting rooms at all star movies resort. It’s our favorite resort. If so, how can we do this?

Hi Dixie - Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad you stopped by as you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! If it's been a while since your last visit, you'll be amazed by all the magical experiences offered during the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration!

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is a great place to call home during your visit - I especially love the newly upgraded Guest rooms, including many that are connecting! In my experience, you will need one adult listed as the primary Guest on each room reservation. If you are the only adult (18+) traveling, I suggest calling 407-939-5277 and speaking with a Cast Member to help make your reservations to ensure everything is set up correctly. Also, be sure to consider if one of your 17-year olds will be 18 by the time you arrive - that might make a difference in your options! While you might be able to make two separate room reservations on your own online, and then call to request the connecting rooms, I think this is a situation best addressed with a Cast Member on the phone.

I can definitely understand why All-Star Movies is your favorite Disney Resort hotel, but for this trip, you might also want to consider a single Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These immersively themed Guest rooms have a separate bedroom with one queen-size bed, one double-size convertible TableBed and one double-size sleeper sofa in the living room, two bathrooms, and even a kitchenette! These rooms fit six adults comfortably, meaning you would only need a single room for your vacation. As a bonus, Art of Animation boasts the largest resort pool on Walt Disney World property and has convenient Disney Skyliner transportation available.

Wherever you end up staying, I know you'll make magical memories! Let me know if any other questions pop up as you plan your visit.
