Hi Alisha!
Great question to ask! Epcot has always seemed tailored to the 7-year-and-up kid to me, with all the height restrictive rides and technology attractions. Cool at 10, but for a 3-year old? Hmmm...
That being said, we've taken our daughter when she was 3, and our son recently at 2, and was able to stay most of the day without any major meltdowns. Here are some of the rides/locations that worked for us:
Rides
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends
- Ellen's Energy Adventure
- Journey Into Imagination with Figment
Locations
- Imagination Pavilion
- Innoventions (son Really liked this!)
- Kidcot Fun Stops (It's amazing what a little color pens and paper will do for children. Son loved this! This also can keep them occupied for a little while. Click this link for more info...)
Shows
- China Pavillion-Dragon Legend Acrobats
Restaurants
- Princess Storybook at Akershus (Norway)
- Garden Grill with Chip N Dale
- Coral Reef (both children love this restaurant! Watching the aquarium of big fish, shark, stingrays, etc. If you go, ask for a table close to the aquarium).
So...I've done it twice with success, so I feel good it can work for you. It doesn't hurt, however, to pick up one of those toys that light up or spins as backup (in case of the unpredictable "fuss" episode. You can find them all over Epcot :-)
Good Luck and wishes for a fun, stress-free vacation!
