How does Once Upon a Time before Happily Ever After affect the dessert party? Will we be able to see both & eat? We are there Mon, Feb 26 & are trying to decide if that would be a worthwhile splurge or if it won't be crowded enough to need it.

    Hello Lindsey!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have family members visiting in May, and one of the first things I suggested was making reservations for a Fireworks Dessert Party. At the party you can relax, eat delicious treats, enjoy drinks, and have a beautiful view of Happily Ever After.

This nighttime spectacular is the highlight of everyone’s visit so Guests actually start saving a spot around Cinderella Castle and Main Street U.S.A as early as 3 hours before the show. That is why I recommend the dessert party so you can be in a comfortable place being treated like Disney royalty. This show is so important to my daughter that for our upcoming visit I will also make a reservation. Once Upon a Time actually takes place after Happily Ever After. On February 26, Happily Ever After is scheduled for 7:55 p.m. and Once Upon a Time is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. Please note that the dessert party starts at 7:00 p.m. on that day and I really recommend arriving early because that is when people will eat. Most Guests will head to their respective viewing areas about 30 minutes before the show. After it ends people leave and the party is literally over.

If you would like to have a guaranteed table to sit down during the show I recommend the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. For an even more unique view of Cinderella Castle, I recommend making reservations for the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope this helps you plan unforgettable and delicious memories!

    See ya real soon!
