Is the Once Upon a Christmas Parade feature all the same characters as the parade in the Magic Kingdom in the afternoons? I'm trying to decide if we need to plan to attend the MK one in the afternoon if they are similar. thanks

    Hello again, Colleen!

The Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and the brand new Festival of Fantasy Parade are two very different parades.  The Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade has a very holiday feel.  You will see toy soldiers, gingerbread men, and a lot of classic characters dressed in their holiday best.  The Festival of Fantasy Parade is a very whimsical parade.  It is awesome.  If you can swing being in the Magic Kingdom one afternoon to catch it, it would be worth it.  December 20th, when the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties are over, the afternoon parade actually switches to the Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade.  Keep that in mind if you are visiting around then.

Have fun planning the rest of your vacation.  As always, if we can help with anything else we would love to.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
