Once my reservations are made for the park, what do i need to enter the park?

Greetings Dommie, and welcome to planDisney!

Your magical vacation will begin in just a few months and be here before you know it! You will have an amazing time celebrating the 50th Anniversary Celebration! Be sure to keep a lookout for Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. There are 50 golden sculptures across all 4 theme parks for you to enjoy.

All Guests need a valid theme park admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation. You have both of these linked to your My Disney Experience accounts. All you need to get in the park is a way to access the information linked to your accounts. You have 3 options.

You can link a MagicBand to your account. If you are a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can purchase MagicBands at a pre-arrival discount. You can use a MagicBand that is still linked to your account that has been previously used. Or you can order a MagicBand from shopDisney. You will tap your MagicBand to the touchpoint at the Main Entrance for access.

You can wait until you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort and take your confirmation number and photo ID to a Will Call window at Guest Services, located near the Main Entrance gates of any theme park. They will give you an admission card that you will use to get in. You may encounter a wait to see a Cast Member to receive your admission cards.

The other option is for Guests who have an Android device with Google Pay or iPhone or Apple Watch. You can set up Disney MagicMobile Service in the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Simply log in and tap the 3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Select the Disney MagicMobile button. Select the Guests that you want to enable a pass. Choose a pass style and then save it to your mobile wallet. You can share these passes with the respective members of your travel party through iMessage. You will tap your phone to the touchpoint to enter the parks.

If you have any more questions or need help making dining reservations, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,

I have made 30 trips and counting to the Walt Disney World Resort in all stages of life since 1972 as a small child, a young mom with a toddler and now as an empty nester. The love of vacation planning runs strong in my family. My uncle had it, I have it and with my help, you will have it too. Learn More About Andrea
