Once I make a reservation, how long do I have before it has to be paid in full? I want to make a room only reservation to guarantee the resort/room I want for spring break 2015 and will add tickets and dining when I'm allowed. When will it need to be paid?

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You have come to the right place to ask this question. My husband says I'm a little like Donald Duck's uncle, Scrooge McDuck. I like to hold onto my money until the very last second! When you make a room only reservation, you only have to pay a one-night deposit and can pay the balance when you check in. You can also cancel a room only reservation up to five days before your stay with no penalty.

With a package, you have to pay in full 45 days in advance of your stay. If you convert your room only reservation to a package reservation you will have to make your final payment 45 days before your arrival.

If I can clarify this further, or if you have any other questions, please let me know!
Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
