Bright suns, Kathie! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to the planet Batuu.
Are you ready to ignite the spark at
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance? It sounds like you are familiar with the
virtual queue system that is currently in place for guests wishing to experience this one-of-a-kind new attraction. Since boarding groups for the virtual queue are assigned quickly when
Disney's Hollywood Studios opens for the day, everyone in your party who is planning to ride should enter the park before the official opening time.
Once you have used your
My Disney Experience mobile app to obtain a boarding group number, there is technically nothing preventing you from leaving the park until your boarding group is called. However, I would advise against doing this. The window of time that you have to arrive at the attraction once your boarding group is called is relatively small, and it often takes quite a while to
travel throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. If I were you, I might think about hanging out in the park and experiencing all there is to see and do at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I know I could spend an entire day exploring all of the immersive details of Black Spire Outpost at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Star Wars fans will find that there are also
numerous other opportunities to experience the Star Wars universe at Disney's Hollywood Studios. In addition to traveling to a galaxy far, far away, during your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios you can also find yourself in Andy's backyard at
Toy Story Land. This theme park is also home to two of my favorite thrill rides,
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Disney's Hollywood Studios also has some excellent
entertainment and some tasty
dining options as well.
I hope you enjoy your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, as well as the rest of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
'Til the spires and may the Force be with you!
Samantha
