Annie from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Once I purchased tickets, I received an electronic ticket. Then found Upcoming Theme Park Reservation with confirmation no. Is that my park reservation?

Hi there, Annie! As Goofy would say, Gawrsh! Your trip is just five sleeps away! Can you already start to feel the magic? Hear the sounds of the Main Street Vehicles? Catch the faint scent of cinnamon and sugary goodness from the churro carts? Well, pack up those Minnie ears and get ready for some magical memory-making at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Let's make sure all your pixie-dusted logistics are all set before you head into the parks! I am so happy to hear that it sounds like you have both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation, as both are currently required to scan into the Main Entrance Gates. I think it's easiest to think of the ticket and the reservation as two separate pieces of magic. While the ticket gets you into the park, the reservation holds a spot for you in a particular park on a particular day. It helps Mickey, Minnie, and our pal Goofy know how many people to expect each day. Reservations are attached to your ticket but can be canceled and rescheduled, subject to availability.

If you purchased a theme park ticket through the Disneyland website recently, you would have been prompted to make a reservation as part of the check-out process, which I'm guessing is the case for you! You would have received the email confirming your ticket confirmation with a link to "Access your eTickets". Additionally, you would have received an email with a QR code that confirms your theme park reservation. When you get to the Main Gate, both the ticket barcode and the QR code will be scanned. You can print and bring hard copies with you or you can download the Disneyland Mobile App for easier access and more on-the-go planning during your Disney day!

Why don't we take a quick peek at your account to make sure you are all set! Let's try the mobile app so you know where to pull up your information when you arrive at the parks. When you open up the Disneyland Mobile App, log in with the same account information used to purchase your tickets. Tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Tickets & Passes". Here, you will be able to pull up any tickets linked to your account. You will see the barcode that can be scanned at the gate and can scroll left to see additional tickets. To check your theme park reservations, click the three-bar menu once again, but now choose "Future Plans". The next screen will show you any theme park reservations and dining reservations you have made for your trip. Hopefully, you see everything you need and now you can just sit back and let that magic settle in around you!

Before I leave you today, I just have to circle back to our guy Goofy. Make sure you bring those autograph books and big open arms because Character Greetings are BACK! Hugs, high-fives, selfies, and all! I will be in the parks next week and will be first in line to give the Goof a big, warm hug!

Annie, magic awaits! Come back to see us if you have any more questions about your planning. We are always here for you at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
