Hey there, hi there, ho there, Ellengayle! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. I'll be your handy helper as you get ready to return to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Hot dog! The theme parks of
Disneyland Resort will be opening later this month! To join Mickey Mouse and his pals during the initial reopening phase, you'll need a few Mouseketools like valid theme park tickets,
theme park reservations, a
fashionable face covering, and confirmation you reside in the Golden State.
If you purchase multi-day tickets (the best way to maximize your fun in the Disneyland Resort theme parks), they will expire 13 days after their first use, or on January 12, 2023, whichever comes first. Just the other day, I bought tickets for a trip I plan to take in 2022. Since theme park admission will make up the majority of my trip's budget, having that expense taken care of well in advance will free up funds for
souvenEARS and
ice cream!
Single-day tickets must be purchased with a
specific day or Tier in mind, and currently, you can select dates through June 30th of this year. Valid admission dates for each tier continue to be added to the calendar, so if you're looking to buy a single-day ticket for later this summer, I recommend checking back every so often. No matter what type of ticket you get, if you aren't able to use it before its expiration date, so long as it is wholly unused, its value can be applied to a future ticket purchase.
I hope this is helpful as you prepare to enter a world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy once again. Best wishes for a safe and happy return to the land of magic, and if there's anything else we can do to help, stop by again.
See ya real soon!
Betsy
