Once we are in the park can anyone with the Disney app manage our group of 7 tickets and the lightening lanes if they are logged into my account? I’m the purchaser

Hi there, Janet, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you and your family are gearing up to have the most magical adventure at the Happiest Place on Earth. One of the best ways to manage time is by purchasing a Lightning Lane pass. Everyone’s going to appreciate breezing through the attraction lines! With such a large group, it can be a challenge to have one person responsible for everyone's bookings. I’ll be happy to guide you on how to lighten the load!

If you are comfortable sharing your account information, others in your group can log into the Disneyland mobile app and help manage Lightning Lane bookings. However, I have to put on my cybersecurity hat for a second and not recommend this option. I have a much better option for you that will help you maintain your account’s security and allow for flexibility!

Someone else in your group can also manage Lightning Lane bookings while logged into their own account by linking your group’s tickets. Multiple tickets can be linked to a single MyDisney account, and tickets can be linked to multiple accounts at the same time. Here’s how:
    1. Tap the (≡) icon in the bottom right corner.
    2. Tap “My Tickets & Passes.”
    3. Tap the (+) icon in the top right corner.
    4. Tap “Link Tickets & Passes.”
    5. Either use the camera to scan the ticket’s barcode or type in the ticket ID.
From here, they’ll be ready to book Lightning Lane selections. Before booking, please be sure that no one in the group has an active Lightning Lane reservation for another attraction.

Bonus Tip: Spread the responsibility to more than just yourself and one person, if you can. This allows anyone in your party to help scan in for the group. Sometimes, you may find that the group has divided interests in some attractions. For example, I was too scared to ride Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! with my planDisney class. Luckily, we all had our tickets linked to one another’s accounts, so it wasn’t a huge disruption that I did not join.

Janet, I hope this information was helpful and that you all have a wonderful time during your vacation. If you have any other questions, we’d be happy to see you again here at planDisney!

Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
    Karmeen
