MagicBands cannot be reassigned to anyone else - even if they've been deactivated. They are intended for only one Guest. If you are looking for a MagicBand for someone else in your party, you can order them online or purcahse one once you arrive. MagicBands can be found at most retail locations throughout the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts. An alternative to a MagicBand is what's called a
Key To The World card. This is a complimentary card that you can get at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel's front desk. This can act as your room key and your ticket into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
You can also access all of that information through the
MyDisneyExperience app for free. If you don't already have it downloaded to your smartphone, I highly encourage it. Once you have the app, you can actually add your theme park tickets to your mobile wallet. Now, all I have to do is hold my phone up to the ticket reader when I want to enter one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. It really does take the place of a MagicBand if you would like it to. You can also open your hotel room door via the app, mobile order food, check wait times for attractions and so much more. It's so user friendly, I highly encourage you to use it during your trip.
