Once in a lifetime trip from Australia. April 2015 at AKL. 2 adults 2 kids 9 & 7. Is club level and dining plan too much? Is 7 days enough for 4 main parks? Kids want character dinners. Was thinking club level b'fast, quick serve lunch, table service din

    Hi Sharon:

While it's nearly impossible to see everything in the Parks, no matter how much time you dedicate to the Parks, seven days seems like a really fair amount of time to comfortably get in what you need to see.  I would think about dedicating two days to Magic Kingdom, two days to Epcot, 1 day at Hollywood Studios, and 1 day at Animal Kingdom.  For the seventh day, I would decide later in your vacation if you want a third day at Magic Kingdom or a second day at Hollywood Studios (or another day at Epcot or Animal Kingdom).

I like your plan for meals.  You don't want to have too many sit-down meals (too much food and too much time not on attractions), and dinner tends to be a great time to sit down to connect about your day and plan for the next day.  I would consider one (maybe two) character breakfasts, such as at Chef Mickey's.  It's a great way to enjoy time together and have characters come to you for pictures instead of having to wait on line in the Parks.

    Enjoy your vacation.
