Once inside the park, are people able to leave and gain re-entry for that same day?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Candice!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! We know you are going to have the most MAGICAL time ever! WOO HOO!

So, are you ready for some MAGICAL news?! I am very happy to inform you that you most definitely CAN leave a Disneyland Theme Park and gain re-entry on the same day. Your Disneyland Theme Park Ticket and valid identification confirmation will be required for re-entry.

You are going to LOVE the flexibility of being able to leave a Disney Theme Park! Would you like to go back to your hotel for the afternoon to swim and then enjoy the theme parks in the evening? You can! Would you like to have lunch at one of the Downtown District Restaurants and return to a Disney Theme Park? Guess what?! YOU CAN! WOO HOO!

I hope this helps you in your planning. As you know Mickey Mouse and his pals are working really hard on the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, and we don't want you to miss a THING! That is why I highly recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and be sure to subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are just a question away!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
