I'm happy to share that you can enter, exit, and re-enter the parks as often as you'd like during your visit to the Disneyland Resort. You'll just want to make sure you have your
park ticket handy as you'll need to scan it at the entry gate when you return.
One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to go back through security on the outskirts of the Disneyland Resort as well if you're walking all the way back to your car.
However, my family and I have done this often when we've visited with our kids over the years - especially if we're visiting during summertime. We often would leave right after lunch to head back to the hotel room for some down time, the pool, or even a quick nap before heading back to the parks in the late afternoon.
