Howdy Tammy!
Welcome to PlanDisney. There is nothing more exciting than planning a vacation to Walt Disney World. Being able to utilize access services for those who qualify can certainly help reduce stress while visiting. Let’s help you get all the information you need to enjoy your time.
You will be able to access the
Disability Access Service feature in the
My Disney Experience app once the guest who has been granted access, along with their party, has entered the park. After entering a park, open the My Disney Experience mobile app and log in to your account. Tap on the menu ( ≡ ) at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap the DAS button to select the attraction to make your return time. The tool can also be accessed from attraction detail screens. If you require additional assistance, you can also obtain return times directly from a cast member at any Guest Relations or Guest Experience Team location (look for the giant blue umbrella).
While you’re in a DAS virtual wait, you can enjoy many other experiences throughout Walt Disney World Resort, such as other rides, shows, concerts, parades, and character greetings. You can also take a rest in a break area, get something to eat, or go shopping.
Tammy, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning and that you and your family have a magical time visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth. Please stop back by if you have any further questions, and one of the panelists will be happy to assist you.
See ya real soon,
Robert
