Hi, Gloria! This is such a great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us! I remember several years ago, back when we had the paper FastPass system. I ran all over the parks, grabbing our next FastPass ahead of my family. Sometimes we would hop over to another park and find that the attraction for which we really wanted to get a FastPass was fresh out of their supply for the remainder of the day. The new
FastPass+ system makes a day in the parks, as well as in multiple parks, so much easier! Not only can we make our three FastPass+ choices for each day well in advance, but we can also easily hop on the
My Disney Experience mobile app to modify them or make others in another park. Woohoo! How magical is that?
At this time, there are three of the theme parks that have a FastPass+ tier system. These are
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Epcot, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you make your initial three FastPass+ selections in any of those theme parks, then you will have to go by the tier rules (one selection from Tier One, two selections from Tier Two, OR all three selections from Tier Two). Once those initial three are used, you can then begin selecting more FastPass+, which can be from either of the tiers. This does also apply if you are hopping to another park and trying to make FastPass+ selections at a tier-enabled park.
So, if you used three FastPass+ at Magic Kingdom Park and decided to ride the monorail over to Epcot, you could grab a Test Track FastPass+ if it was available. Starting your day by flying with a FastPass+ on the
back of a mountain banshee? Feel free to yell, "hey howdy hey!" as you luck up on a
Slinky Dog Dash FastPass+!
I hope this helps you plan a magical day, Gloria! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
