Once entering the park gates, are you allowed to leave and return on the same day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shannon!

Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question. It’s our pleasure to assist you in planning the most magical and unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, where the magic is endless!

Shannon, you can absolutely leave the theme parks and return later if you need to. Depending on your Theme Park Ticket type, you will be able to only visit the same park on one day, or if you were to add the Park Hopper option, you could begin the day at one park, then head over to a different park later. But be sure to plan accordingly since park touring time is precious. The parks are BIG and it can take some time to leave and return.

For my family, taking a mid-day break is often a necessity. I love being able to go back to our Disney resort hotel, enjoy some down time cooling off in the pool then returning reenergized for some evening time fun, like watching the spectacular nighttime firework shows that are not to be missed!

Thanks again for stopping by! Be sure to come back to see us again soon for any additional planning tips or questions about your upcoming visit.

    See ya real soon,
