    Once we are on the Disney cruise ship, can we receive text messages from individuals back at home or on shore?

    Thanks so much for sailing by!  During your Disney Cruise Line vacation, you can stay connected at sea.  Connect@sea offers various Internet packages that you can explore based on your personal online needs. For the most current rates, you can refer to information provided in your stateroom when you embark or contact a Connect@Sea representative on board.  Text messaging services are controlled by your cellular carrier, and rates tend to be higher when traveling abroad or at sea.  I recommend contacting your carrier for specific cruise packages and rates.  Service varies depending upon where the ship is and your carrier.
