Hello, Jason, and welcome to
planDisney!
The
Disney Gift Card presents Guests with a wide array of flexibility when making purchases, and even managing their Disney Resorts Collection Hotel – Guest Room charges.
Jason, if you are referring to creating an account on the official
Disney Gift Card website, then your card IDs and balances will be stored, enabling you to manage your balances on your Disney Gift Cards. For purchases and charges to your official
Walt Disney World Resort account, at this time, the forms of payment that can be stored as a payment method are valid credit cards, such as the Disney® Visa®, Masterard®, Discover Card, American Express, Diners Club Card, and JCB – Japan Credit Bureau.
If using the
My Disney Experience App, when using the
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature, after you have created and confirmed your order, you are able to add a Disney Gift Card as a form of payment at check-out if you wish, although it will not be permanently stored. At this time, the Disney Gift Card cannot be stored as a payment method to your Disney account, the way the above-mentioned credit cards can be stored.
Jason, what I like to do, for the sake of convenience, is to store my
Disney Gift Card eGift on my digital wallet on my mobile device, which I can then present for scanning at many locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Just remember that at some venues, where scanning is not available, you may be asked to present your mobile device to the Cast Member for them to have access to the Disney Gift Card eGift ID number. You can easily keep track of your balance and re-load funds by signing into your Disney Gift Card account.
For further clarification or assistance, I invite you to contact
Disney Gift Card support, or
Walt Disney World Resort – Help Center, thank you.
I hope this information is helpful, it was my pleasure assisting you today, Jason, please stop by for any other Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions.
Best Disney Wishes!
Jacqueline
