Once you board on departure day, can you get into your room right away? And are all the activities available for use?

    Ahoy Nancy –

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Oh, there is nothing more exciting than embarkation day! My family loves to have our count-down in the terminal while we wait for our turn to go through those giant Mickey Ears at the port. After boarding, there will be plenty of things to do and explore; so to get the most out of your time, open up your Personal Navigator while waiting to board.  We use the cruise terminal wait time to make a game plan of the activities we want to do once we embark the ship.

Since your staterooms will not be ready until about 1:30PM, many families spend their time onboard enjoying lunch, swimming, exploring the ship and signing up for Port Adventures or cruise activities. All ship activities will close down right before the Compulsory Assembly Drill and then open up again at the Sail Away Celebration. Nancy, thanks for stopping by for a visit with us. Disney Cruise Moms Nancy, Marcy and I are always thrilled to help!
