Hiya, Angela!
Thanks for stopping by with your question about Walt Disney World Resort
Annual Passes. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! It sounds like you're hoping to
become an Annual Passholder in the near future. Oh boy! I'm happy to discuss upgrading your existing theme park tickets to an Annual Pass.
Get ready, Angela, because the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Pirate Pass will once again be available for purchase as of April 20, 2023. As long as your partially-used existing theme park tickets are unexpired, I'm happy to inform you that you're welcome to upgrade your tickets to an Annual Pass at that time! After speaking to a friendly Cast Member, partially-used, unexpired theme park tickets must be upgraded within 14 days of first use, and the upgrade to an Annual Pass must be made
in person at a theme park ticket booth or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You'll be responsible for the difference in price between your 5-day ticket and the Annual Pass at the time of upgrade.
According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass Terms & Conditions, when a multi-day theme park ticket is upgraded to an Annual Pass, the Pass will be backdated to begin on the first day that the original ticket was used. Partially used and expired theme park tickets are ineligible for upgrades. All upgrades are subject to Annual Pass availability, so I encourage you to act quickly on April 20, 2023, Angela. I know lots of folks (including myself!) are very excited about the opportunity to become Annual Passholders again!
Angela, I hope your Annual Pass enables you to visit the Walt Disney World Resort
theme parks more frequently and make lots of magical memories in the year to come. If you have any additional questions, please stop back by planDisney again anytime - we're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
