Hi . We are once again heading to Disney Feb 26 2014 My question is last year when booking hotel and tickets it gave me the option to pay a small deposit and the reminder balance be due at the time of check in has that option changed no? Thank you...

    Hi Ernesto!

Lots of magical changes are happening at Walt Disney World, so there will be plenty of new things to see and do on your next trip!Essentially there are two different types of reservations that you can book with your vacation and each has its own set of rules and payment policies.

A Magic Your Way Vacation Package includes resort stay at anyone of Walt Disney World operated resorts and park tickets. When booking a Magic Your Way Package, it requires a $200 deposit with the final payment due 45 days before your check-in date. The remaining balance can be paid in any increment (minimum of $20) and at anytime of your choosing, as long as the remaining balance is paid 45 days before your check-in date.Magic Your Way Vacation Packages can be paid with all major credit cards, debit cards backed by a major credit card,by check and Disney Gift Cards.

The other type of reservation is a "room-only" reservation and has a slightly different set of rules for payment and does not include tickets or vouchers included in the Magic Your Way Package.Room only reservations just require a one night's stay deposit, with the remaining balance due upon check-in.  For a room only option, you will have to purchase your tickets separately and will be require to pay the full cost of the tickets at the time of purchase.

Remember if any discounts become available after you have made your Walt Disney World reservations that you are eligible to receive, just contact your travel agent or (407) W-Disney in order to have the special offer applied to your remaining balance to help save more of your Disney dollars.Be sure to check Disney's Special Offers page for any discounts that may apply to your dates of travel.

I hope this was helpful, Ernesto!  Please let me know if you have anymore questions or need advice for your upcoming vacation.

    Happy Planning!
