Hello once again! My family of four went to wdw last summer 2012. I am tentatively planning once again for next summer 2014! Planning this time for 3 adults and 2 kids. What are my hotel options? Do i just get two rooms? Is it cheaper? Help! Please :)

    Hi Danielle!

Having a big family, I'm always on the lookout for more space and budget pleasing resort accommodations.Disney has all of this covered as there a numerous options for just about any size and budget. There are several resorts that can accommodate 5 guests in one room:
    • Port Orleans Riverside-Alligator Bayou Section Only
    • Beach Club
    • Boardwalk Inn
    • Contemporary
    • Grand Floridian
    • Polynesian
There always is the option of booking 2 rooms at any of the resorts,Disney Vacation Club Villa, a cabin at Ft. Wilderness, or a Family Suite. The following will be your least expensive options, I am basing prices off of 2013 summer rates as 2014 rates have not yet been released:
    1. Port Orleans Riverside- 1 room accommodates 5 guests at $211/night.
    2. All Star Resorts- 2 standard rooms $266/night.
    3. Pop Century- 2 standard rooms $286/night
    4. Art of Animation- 2 standard rooms $296/night
    5. All Star Music Family Suites-accommodate 6 guests $305/night
    6. Art of Animation Family Suites accommodate 6 guests $348/night
    7. Cabins at Ft. Wilderness accommodate 6 guests $353/night
Port Orleans Riverside is a great option for your budget, party size and the themeing is wonderful!  This is one of my favorite moderate resorts and there are lots of great activities, plus a great pool that will please the kiddos.Remember to be on the lookout for special offers as Disney has several throughout the year. Even if you have already booked your vacation, you can apply a discount that is later released to save you even more money.

I hope you have a fantastic vacation and please let me know if you have any questions while planning your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Happy Planning!
