Our oldest is turning 3 and we plan to buy him an annual pass since we are pass holders. My husband and I will be taking a trip to Epcot without the kids and are hoping to buy/activate his pass. Would we be able to do this without our 3yo present?

    Hi Lisandra, welcome to planDisney!

When it comes to Walt Disney World, reaching a child’s third birthday is a major milestone! It is such a good idea to purchase your son’s Annual Pass at a time that is convenient for you, which sometimes means when you don’t have the kids by your side.

Your son does not need to be present when you purchase his Annual Pass. You can purchase his Annual Pass at any ticket window near the entrances of the theme parks or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Your son’s Annual Pass will be activated when you use it to enter the theme parks.

Although your son is three, if he’s anything like my similar-aged son, a stroller is still a necessity at Walt Disney World. Did you know you can rent a stroller near the entrances of the theme parks? For my family, it is a relief to know that we can rent a stroller in the parks, and we don’t have to worry about transporting it around after we leave for the day. Also, if you’re planning to park hop, you can return the stroller at your first theme park and present your rental receipt for a stroller at the next theme park! I hope this was helpful, Lisandra. Enjoy your visit to EPCOT with your husband, and your future family visits! If you have any future questions, please visit me again at planDisney!
