Hi there, Alicia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It appEARs that you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation coming up…. HOW EXCITING!! Visiting the theme parks is always a magical time but experiencing it alongside little ones is even more magical! You will make so many wonderful memories during this vacation and I am so excited for you and your family!
Theme park tickets are required for anyone ages three and up, so yes, your three-year old will need a ticket to enter the theme parks. Ticket prices for children ages 3-9 is slightly lower than adult pricing and is also dependent upon what type of ticket you choose and which day you plan to visit the theme parks. When you go to purchase your tickets, you will be able to select the number of children’s tickets needed in addition to adult tickets.
Be sure to read the
Preschool Parents' Guide prior to your vacation; in it you will find lots of helpful tips and ideas to make the most of your days in the theme parks! I always found it very useful when my boys were younger and still find myself rereading it before every trip to see what I may have missed! And, I also highly recommend utilizing the
Mobile Food Ordering through the My Disney Experience Mobile App because long lines and hungry littles don’t mix…or at least not with my boys! Also be sure that if you plan on bringing a stroller with you into the theme parks that your stroller fits within the
recently updated stroller size guidelines.
Have the most amazing and magical vacation, Alicia! And, please come back with any other planning questions you may have!
