Welcome to planDisney, Jody!
Thank you for sending us your great question about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.
Jody, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are nonrefundable. However, you can use unused and unexpired theme park tickets for future vacations. Because none of the theme park ticket’s days were used, the ticket is unexpired. Ticket expirations vary, but most tickets expire 14 days after their first use. You can see a
full list of ticket expiration guidelines on this page.
If his ticket was purchased for specific dates, the amount paid for his unused ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. Please visit any
Guest Relations location, Disney Resort hotel Concierge desk, or dial (407) 939-1289 to learn more about this process.
Additionally, unused tickets can be reassigned to another person in your
Family & Friends list. Theme park tickets can be reassigned until their first usage. Once they are used, they can no longer be reassigned.
Visit the "My Reservations" section of your account, locate his ticket, and click on "reassign ticket" if you wish to transfer your ticket to someone else on your account.
Last but not least, if you have any other concerns or need additional guidance, you can speak to a friendly Cast Member by dialing call (407) 939-1289. I’m glad there are so many options for your family, Jody!
