I am the oldest of 10 kids (12 total) and saving up to take my family to Disney World. Fort Wilderness seems to be the cheapest by sleeping a tent, but I can only put ten on a reservation. Anyway to save money and add my little sisters somehow?

Hi there, Joshua - welcome back to planDisney!

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a great option for a unique stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. As a bonus, this is one of the most affordable ways to enjoy all the benefits of staying in the magic with the Disney Resorts Collection.

Joshua, currently all campsites can accommodate a maximum of 10 Guests. This means that if you have 12 Guests in your party, you will need to reserve two campsites, or find another Resort that can accommodate your entire party. That being said, I can't think of any options in the Disney Resorts Collection for 12 Guests that will be more affordable than two campsites, so I still think this is absolutely your best option.

One of the nice things about Fort Wilderness is that there are both campsites and cabins. So, depending on your budget, you might consider booking one cabin and one campsite to fit everyone. Cabins can accommodate up to six adults, but the real benefit for you would be a private bathroom in the cabin as well as a kitchenette. The kitchenette could help you save a bit on your food budget by preparing some of your own meals during your vacation! Cabins also have climate control, so your crew can relax in the air conditioning or cozy up in the heat if temperatures outside aren't ideal.

Joshua, I hope this information is helpful as you get started planning your vacation for later this year. Please stop by and see us any time with additional questions!
