My oldest daughter will turn 18 in February of 2016, and we plan to cruise in July 2016. As she will not be permitted to go to the teen club, and her sister will have a club.....truly, what is there for a young woman to do?

    Ahoy, Sonya!

Thank you for visiting us here at the Moms Panel - I'm happy to help!

While there is no official "club" location for the 18-21 year old set on the ship, there are plenty of opportunities for them to participate in activities for their age group. Make sure your daughter checks out Club 18*21 -  gatherings held exclusively for young adults on the ship.

Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator, a daily schedule of all the activities and happenings on the ship. There will be a dedicated section for Club 18*21, and your daughter can make sure not to miss any of the fun! On the first evening onboard, they typically host an Ice Breaker mixer, where guests age 18-21 can get together and meet other cruisers their age. Throughout your sailing, the activities staff will host varied age appropriate activities for the guests, at different venues around the ship.

Your daughter will also be allowed to visit the adult-exclusive areas on the ship, including dining venues, the spa, and the adults-only pool area. While the alcohol drinking age is strictly enforced, she's welcome to visit the lounges and nightclubs as well.

I'm a mom of a fifteen year old who is growing up way too fast! She's a big fan of Vibe, the teen club, but she also looks very forward to the day she can chill out at the adult pool and join me in the spa. I know the day will be here before I know it!

I hope this helps ease your mind - you'll be surprised how much there is to do on a Disney Cruise, no matter your age! Please come back and visit us here as your sail date approaches. We want to help you and your family have the most magical vacation possible! - Diane W.
