I am an older woman going to Disneyland. It is difficult for me to stand in line for long amounts of times. Is it ok for me to bring a small tiny chair to fit on when I’m line, at times. Is it a really small one I got from the camping store. Thanks, Roxy P

Howdy, Roxanne! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

I am delighted to hear that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort! While folding and camping chairs are prohibited, there is an exception for cane-chairs like the small stool you are describing. Additionally, there are other ways to reduce the amount of time you wait in line for attractions that you will want to employ. First, arrive at the parks as early as possible as crowds are always lowest early in the morning.

Next, use the Disney FASTPASS Service to receive a return time to ride an attraction with little to no waiting. The traditional FASTPASS Service is included with your theme park admission and is offered for many attractions. For an additional fee, you can add the Disney MaxPass option which will allow you to select and redeem FASTPASSES using the Disneyland app on your mobile device.

Finally, you might want to stop by Guest Relations when you arrive to discuss the option to use Disability Access Service while you are in the parks. Disability Access Service will provide you with virtual waits for attractions so you can rest outside the attraction queue until it's time to ride.

I hope this helps. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
