Welcome to planDisney Brad!
Traveling with teens can be a lot of fun. But let's face it - they want to take off and do their own thing! My kids often want to "meet up for dinner" so they can zoom around to get in as many attractions as possible all afternoon!
When using
Genie+, you will select which guests in your party want to book a ride return time. As long as one of the girls has access on their app, they can make their selections for themselves. Then, the "old folks" (anyone over the age of 30 according to my kids!) can do whatever they want, including booking their own Genie+ selections.
It is actually a good idea that everyone has access to all the plans on the
My Disney Experience app. This way they can see what time
dining reservations are scheduled and you won't get the "what time is dinner" question all day long!
My family tries to book one table service meal each day, this way we are guaranteed to spend some time together. No worries, they always show up when food is involved!
One of the things I like about a Walt Disney World vacation is I feel safe when my older teens take off on their own adventure.
Transportation is easy so they can
hop parks or head back to the resort and I don't have to worry about them having to drive on their own.
Wishing your entire travel party a magical visit to see Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals!
