    I have an older special needs child who is in a wheelchair. Will I have to transfer her out of her chair for every ride/attraction and is there a place in the parks other than the small baby changing tables to change her? Thanks.

    Hi Jim,

    I know from personal experience that Disney World is a great place to visit with children who have special needs!

    There is a link on the Disney website for Guests with Mobility Disabilities. There you will find a list of attractions that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs & which ones require Guests to transfer in order to board. Please keep in mind that Disney Cast Members are not allowed to physically lift Guests from wheelchairs so you or someone from your party will have to assist your daughter at those attractions.

    You will be able to utilize the Baby Care Centers for changing your daughter.  You are also welcome to visit the First Aid Stations for any assistance.
