I have older Magic Bands from 2020. Can I link them to my park passes that I just purchased?

    Hello Cheryl!

I bet you are excited about your Walt Disney World vacation! Your My Disney Experience Account is the key to linking tickets and MagicBands so you can have an incredible Walt Disney World vacation. I like to ensure that my MagicBands and tickets are all set before my Walt Disney World vacation.

The good news is that as long as your valid Walt Disney World Tickets and your MagicBands are linked to your My Disney Experience Account, you should be able to enter a theme park with your active MagicBand, even if it is a MagicBand used on a previous vacation. To see your Walt Disney World tickets, you must open the My Disney Experience app and sign in to your My Disney Experience account. Press the three bars (hamburger menu) on the bottom lower left of the app's home page to bring up the tile page. You should look for the Tickets and Passes box on the tile page. Your Walt Disney World tickets are listed on the Tickets and Passes page. If you do not see your tickets, then you will need to link your tickets by pressing the plus (+) button at the top right of the Tickets and Passes page. Select the Link Tickets & Passes (you will be given two options-1. Ticket or Pass and 2. Room with Tickets). If you only have tickets, pick the first option of the two options and type in the ID code on your ticket or pass. If you have a room with tickets attached to the room, then enter your Walt Disney World reservation confirmation number and your last name. Once your tickets and MagicBands are linked, you can see them in your My Disney Experience Account on the Mobile App or website. If your MagicBands are active and you have valid tickets remaining, then you should be able to use any of your active MagicBands to enter a theme park, according to my experience. Remember that you will need to make a Theme Park Reservation for each day of your ticket.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is magical!
