Hello I have some older Disneyland tickets from 2020 covid times. They were given to us from our local school. Are they eligible to be used or updated?

    Hello, Shelley!

Welcome to planDisney. I remember when Disneyland was closed during that time period, and I missed it so much! As soon as the gates reopened, my oldest child and I hopped on a plane to say hello to our "Happiest Place on Earth." We smiled the entire time!

I'm impressed that you held on to Disneyland theme park tickets for so long! They would have been burning a hole in my pocket! In my experience, most are valid for up to one year. Since you received these from your local school, they may have a different eligibility window. I suggest reviewing the Terms and Conditions usually listed with the ticket to determine if they can still be used. If they can't, it may be possible to apply their value toward the purchase of new theme park tickets. I recommend calling or chatting with a Disneyland Cast Member to review your options.

I hope you can use the tickets since this is a great year to visit Disneyland! The 70th Anniversary festivities continue through August 9, 2026, bringing unique Disney Character experiences like Bluey's Best Day Ever!, plus the return of my favorite parade, Paint the Night...and there are also plenty of tasty celebratory treats! Soon afterwards, Halloween Time at Disneyland begins on August 21, 2026, and runs through October 31, 2026. Then, most wondrous Holidays at Disneyland start on November 18, 2026. With all of these options, it's hard to choose when to visit!

Shelley, I hope you can use your tickets towards a magical visit to Disneyland soon! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions.
