    How old do you have to be to run the Castaway Cay 5K?

    Hi Jessica!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The Castaway Cay 5K currently has a (somewhat flexible) requirement that participants should be at least ten years of age.  It's a good idea to check with Guest Services when you board your cruise to find out information about that particular cruise's 5K schedule/rules.

    There are often runners on the course younger than ten, but there is no guarantee for a medal if you don't meet the race requirements.

    Be sure to check out runDisney's website for more races that you can do with your family or friends!
