How old do you have to be to rent a hotel room? I planning a trip with my best friend, but we're only 20.

    Hi Katie,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about Disney Resort hotel reservations.  Please note that with the current world situation, Walt Disney World is taking many extra steps to ensure your safety and are sharing updates of detailed information about current procedures here in this link for Know Before You Go: Returning to a World of Magic.

You raise a very good question that I just recently researched as my 16 year old has asked to do the same thing in a few years with her best friend.  I know it can be difficult to make travel arrangements for young adults under the age of 25, but you will be glad to know that Walt Disney World makes everything about vacation easier including making Disney Resort hotel room reservations.  Guests who are 18 and up may make their own Disney Resort room reservation, so you are in luck seeing that you are already 20!

Katie, you should know that the current operating procedures include limiting the number of Guests in each theme park.  In order to visit a theme park, Guests must have a valid ticket and a Disney Park Pass Reservation.  Currently Guests may visit one theme park per day (no Park Hopping), but they may leave and return to the same park on the same day within its operating hours.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning!  Please be sure to stop by here again with any further vacation planning questions.  We are always excited to help you plan your next Magical adventure!
