I have an old WDW refillable mug at home. Can I bring it and use it at the parks?

Hello, Jessica! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mugs are only valid for the length of your stay and are eligible for refills at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations within your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The new mugs have RFID chips and you need a mug with an activated chip inside in order for the beverage dispensers at your resort hotel to work. To experience the value and savings of these mugs, you do need to purchase a new mug for each visit.

If you would like to bring your older mugs to the Theme Parks for water and / or use them to carry around beverages that you purchase at the Park, you are absolutely welcome to do so! They do a great job of keeping your cool beverages cooler just a bit longer.

    Have a magical day, Jessica!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
