Hi, Karen! Welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you still have a ticket to the magic! I can only imagine how much you’ve been looking forward to using it for an amazing vacation. So, let’s get you ready to explore the Walt Disney World Resort!
You absolutely can still use your
old ticket, but you need to make sure it's linked to your
My Disney Experience account first. If you haven’t set one up yet, it’s free, and it’s a great resource for keeping track of all your plans.
Once you've set up your account and logged in, go to the "My Disney Experience" link in the menu bar of the Walt Disney World website, and then navigate to "My Plans." That's where you'll see any tickets linked to your account. If you don't see it there, go to the “
Link Your Reservations and Purchases” page and follow the prompts to link your ticket. If you run into any trouble, go ahead and
call Guest Relations at the “My Disney Experience and MagicBands” number, and a Cast Member will walk you right through it. When your ticket is linked to your account, you can go to the
Disney Park Pass page and choose the date and park you’d like to visit. And ka-CHOW! You're all set!
One more thing to know, Karen. With limited capacity in the parks, reservations have been at a premium lately. If you find the park you want to visit isn’t available, go ahead and make a reservation for a park that does have
availability. Since you have the
Park Hopper Option on your ticket, you can hop to a different theme park without having to make another reservation when hopping opens after 2 p.m.
I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Karen. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
