How old does a toddler need to be to have her own ticket at Disney?

    Hi Nicole,

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I am so happy to hear that you are considering a visit to Walt Disney World Resort with your toddler, seeing the magic through a child's eyes is simply incredible and I will never forget my daughters first time at Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests will require a Theme Park Ticket once they are 3 years old.  Children are between the ages of 3-9 and after that the general Theme Park Tickets are ten years of age and older.  Children ages 3 and over will also be allocated FastPass+ Selections for attractions which they reach the height requirements.  If your child is under three, much like Theme Park Tickets, they will just enter the FastPass+ queue with you and your party to enjoy the attraction.

In order to make Advanced Dining Reservations, no matter the age, your toddler will need to be listed on the reservation.  The Dining Location needs to have exact numbers for safety reasons and so they are able to properly prepare for your dining experience.

I hope that helps, Nicole.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always here to assist with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning.
