Have old tickets with unknown # of days left. Can I check what I have left at DTD or do I have to go to a resort or park to find out? Mostly trying to surprise son with visit and want to know where we stand before walking up to gate and staying off-site.

    Hi Susan,

How exciting that you want to surprise your son with a visit to WDW!  You can visit the Guest Relations locations at DTD and they can scan your tickets to see if there are any days left on them. There are two locations at DTD - one between the Team Mickey Athletic Club & Ghirardelli Soda Fountain in the Marketplace and one near DisneyQuest on the West Side.

If your old tickets were purchased after January 2, 2005 and included the no expiration date option, you could have some days left. If your old tickets were purchased before January 2, 2005 they have no expiration date unless they were "Length of Stay" passes which expired at the end of your trip.

Once you see where you stand, you can purchase tickets while you're there and avoid standing in line at the ticket window when you're ready to visit a park.

I'd love to see the look on your son's face with you surprise him!  Hope your trip is filled with lots of magical memories!
