Ahoy there Tracy, and welcome aboard planDisney!
Shiver me timbers! It sounds like you've got some buried treasure on your hands. My crew still has a few tickets with the non-expiration option, and we like to use them on shorter adventures.
Walt Disney World continues to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days, and now it's just a matter of finding where X marks the spot on your paper tickets so you can link them to your
My Disney Experience account and make
Disney Park Pass reservations.
I went below deck and dug up a similar ticket I purchased in 2012, and I found several numbers on the back. Just below the barcode, there is a 17 digit alpha-numeric code, and that's the one I used for linking purposes.
Let's try linking your ticket just one more time. While logged in to your My Disney Experience account, select "My Plans" and choose "Link Reservations & Purchases" from the "Add More Plans" dropdown menu. Click on "Link Tickets," and scroll through the options to the right to find your ticket type. See if you can find an image that matches the ticket you have, and enter the numbers shown. If you continue to have problems, you might need to give the friendly folks at Disney a call at (407) 939-1289. Best wishes for smooth waters!
I hope everything works out for you, Tracy! Before you know it, it'll be time to set sail for your journey. If you'll be traveling this fall, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for updates regarding the
50th-anniversary celebration. It's going to be an exciting time at Walt Disney World, and you won't want to miss any of the details. Thanks again for coming to see us at
planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
