Hi Alexander,
Thank you for visiting planDisney! I definitely remember my sister watching all those Playhouse Disney shows. They were such a big part of her childhood, and as a good big sister, I did my part to join her on all those adventures.
It’s always a little sad to see some of our favorite shows, attractions, and characters phased out of the parks. But just because they’re no longer featured doesn’t mean you can’t relive those long-lost memories. Bear in the
Big Blue House and
Rolie Polie Olie are both available to stream on Disney+. They’re definitely worth a rewatch, whether for your own enjoyment or to share with the next generation.
While I completely understand your desire for some nostalgic Disney entertainment, don’t count out the new shows at the Disney Theater. The
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! show was really entertaining! I especially loved that it featured different types of music. The outfits that all the characters were wearing were also super cute, and the jokes were really funny. You can even see
me and my fellow panelist, McCayla, rocking out to the show as we explored all the fun from the
70th Anniversary celebration.
If you’re planning a trip during Halloween Time, you’ll be able to catch
Mickey's Trick and Treat! I can’t wait to see Mickey and the gang in their Halloween costumes. Be sure to hop in line early to grab a good seat. I love to pass the time with my favorite park snacks or a yummy treat from
Award Wieners across the street.
